Domain name registrar and Internet services provider Register.com (register.com) announced on Monday that it is boosting the storage and transfer capacity included with its hosting products.

The company says it has increased disk storage for its basic hosting packages from 50MB to 500MB and strengthened the bandwidth allocations from 4.5GB to 12GB.

The Web hosting with Shopping Cart package now includes 500MB of disk space and 24GB of bandwidth, and e-commerce packages are now available in 1GB, 7GB, and 10GB packages with bandwidth allocations ranging from 40 to 500GB.

"Our goal is to provide high value Web hosting packages with a price that is affordable and accessible to our customers," says Peter Forman, president and CEO of Register.com. "Additionally, we go to great lengths to ensure our support team is exceptional; our customers always have someone ready to hold their hands and do whatever it takes to get their Web sites up and running."

All accounts also offer a full suite of Web site applications that support blogging, file management, Web stats, and emergency file restoration.
