This month hosting and cloud software provider Parallels is releasing the much-anticipated Plesk Panel 10 and has announced that its Parallels Partner Storefront will be included in this version. Exiting news for service providers who will now be able to profit from delivering cloud-based services through a revenue-sharing system.

“Service providers already serve hundreds of millions of small businesses globally,” said president of marketing and alliances at Parallels Jack Zubarev. “These providers can now easily launch their own branded storefront and grow revenue by offering an array of applications and services to their small business customers.”

Parallels Partner Storefront, formerly known as Parallels Partner Marketplace, allows users to select, purchase and install more than 100 applications quickly and easily. The storefront manages ordering, billing and subscriptions in one place. This means you can rapidly and easily sell commercial applications without the cost and time of integrating these new offerings to your backend.

Parallels Plesk Panel has a reputation for eliminating the complexities of managing servers and providing an easy to learn control panel. This means simplified navigation to help you find and complete difficult tasks quickly and efficiently. Now with the integrated Storefront it’s easy to see why the service is edging out competitors.

At launch customers will be able to choose from commercial solutions like Mobile Web by Unity Mobile, Norton Internet Security, Mobile Web by Unity Mobile, Persony Web Conferencing and Keeplt online backup, as well as open source applications like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and various SSL certificate and domain registration services.

This is great news for companies servicing small businesses that want to benefit from the cost and time-savings that Cloud based applications and services provide. For Parallel Plesk Panel customers this means there is one more exciting reason to look forward to the latest version that will allow you to highlight Apps you want users to see, for example Paid Apps. The Parallels Partner Storefront is also a key component of the Parallels Small Business Panel, another great product from Parallels.
