HosTest.net: Almost half of web hosts fail in providing efficient customer support
Auditing and market research firm HorMart has revealed the results of its survey. While 16% of the web hosting providers met excellent customer support standards, another 46% of the web hosts were unable to deliver an effective help.
The research targeted 50 major web hosting companies from all five continents. Testing e-mail requests were sent during November 2006. Incoming responses from the web hosts were then assessed according to five-point scale together with the response time determination.
