Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine’s Web Host Makeover Contest is coming to a close soon, with entries being accepted until July 23, 2004. The grand- prize winner will be selected on August 12, 2004.

Denham Springs, LA, July 8, 2004 – Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine’s Web Host Makeover Contest (www.webhostmakeover.com) is coming to a close soon, with entries being accepted until July 23, 2004.  The  grand- prize winner will be selected on August 12, 2004.  Nine other lucky winners will also be awarded prizes from some of the top names in the hosting industry.  All US-based hosting providers in business for more than three months are eligible to enter.

Ping! Zine, the world’s leading web hosting industry print publication, first announced the contest in April. "I knew that many web hosting providers are able to provide technical excellence, but that isn't always matched by the look and feel of their sites," states Keith Duncan, Publisher, Editor and Co-Founder of Ping! Zine.  "It occurred to me that one of the best ways to showcase our industry was to conduct a contest - modeled off the ever-popular concept of 'makeovers' -- that would allow us to totally transform a hosting company's website and services, from drab to dramatic."
