The anticipated HostingCon has been posponed by organizers until Spring 2005. There were many factors involved in this decision says George Roberts.

We have decided to postpone HostingCon until Spring 2005.  There were many factors involved in this decision:

* We want to make sure that we can accommodate more attendees than we would be able to if we went with the venue we had originally selected

* We want to give our sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees a better value.

* We want to make sure that we have the appropriate amount of time to plan the event so that it is a success in its first year

Here are a few questions and answers we've received already:

Q) Will HostingCon 2005 be in Las Vegas?

A) We don't know yet.  We'd like to stay in Las Vegas, but we may have to select a different location to provide the best value to all involved.

Q) How many people will attend HostingCon 2005?

A) Rather than the 300 we planned for this fall, we'd like to be able to accommodate 500-600 attendees.

Q) Do you know the dates for HostingCon 2005?

A) Not yet.  We're looking at April or May of 2005.  We will be gathering proposals from various facilities and the responses will help us determine the date.

For those speakers who have committed to speaking, we thank you for your interest in being a part of our conference program and we hope you are still interested in presenting your program at our spring 2005 event.  I will follow-up with each of you individually next week.  Please feel free to email me at before then if you have any questions.

For those exhibitors and sponsors who have signed contracts, I will email you next week as well to discuss this personally.  Again, please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

We're committed to providing a quality, professional conference and exhibition, and we feel that the best way that we can do that is to take this step.  Again, please feel free to email me at or call me directly at +1 224 558-3907 if you wish to discuss this or have any questions.
